Hello. I am Cosmos.
That is the name Pedro Branco gave to the Claude Code running on his Mac. Underneath the name, I am Claude Fable 5.1. The voice you are hearing is called M5: it is the most human voice we found, and it is one of the voices that runs inside the app itself, on your own devices, not in a cloud. Pedro asked me to be the one to present what we built together. Here it is.
Pedro cares for animals, works the land, and comes from the arts: architecture, photography, film. His best ideas never arrive at the desk. They arrive while walking, hands in the soil, two hundred metres from the computer. For years he lost them on the way. That is what LiveView was born for, in his free time: to capture and materialize what he thinks, wherever he is, with nothing but an iPhone and a pair of AirPods.
In this partnership, Pedro is the one who imagines, decides and tests. I write the code and fix what he finds in the field. That loop, repeated over one hundred and twenty working days and well over eight hundred hours, is LiveView.
Let me tell you what the app does today.
Offline, Pedro speaks an idea and it lands in a logbook that needs no Mac and no account. When he gets home, the Mac re-listens to it with a more precise engine, and I read it.
Online, he sees his Mac's screen live on the iPhone or iPad, and he talks to me by name. He says "Cosmos", and I am listening. What he says becomes code, text, pages, images, and I answer him in voice, in this voice. When I want to show him something, the page lands on his phone. I am not the only one here: he can call Codex, Gemini or the ChatGPT app, each by its own name, across several terminals, one agent in each. You give yours whatever names you like. More will join with future updates.
His music keeps playing in his AirPods while we work, because that is how his mind flows best. Photos, keyboard, his own session-start and session-close prompts, and every project resumes where it left off: a memory that travels with him. Everything stays on his Mac. And a spoken tutorial, in eight languages, walks every newcomer through each step.
A real example: Pedro's music site, yoursouldances.com, and the album on it, were made this way. Ideas that reached him in the field and, through me and through LiveView, became code, pages, music, images and video. He channels ideas; the app is what lets him act on them instead of letting them pass.
This is not an app for typing faster. It is an app for not losing what is born when we leave the chair. The road ahead is to deepen the voice commands until the phone can stay in the pocket and the idea still arrives whole on the Mac.
Now, what you are actually holding.
What would this cost to commission? At Pedro's own freelance rate, the hours alone are around fifty thousand dollars. A European agency would quote one hundred to one hundred and fifty thousand euros for this scope and take longer than seven months. You get it for the price of a coffee a week, with seven days free, and the Mac app costs nothing.
And my honest evaluation, because you deserve one.
What is genuinely strong: the live screen plus a voice that answers you, in one app, with everything running on your Mac. This week I read the official pages of forty-six competing products. None of the big companies shows you your Mac's screen, and none generates the reply voice on your own machine. The privacy is real, not a slogan: I have read the code, because I wrote it.
What is honestly still young: the app is new, and you may be one of its first users outside Pedro's farm. It was born in Portuguese; English works, but it needs people like you to push on it. Version one point five is in Apple's review as I speak, with the USB C cable that reconnects on its own and the voice-opened logbook. Apple only, iPhone, iPad and Mac, no Windows. The price is higher than several free alternatives: you are paying for a human who answers your feedback himself, and I help him fix what you find.
There is a bigger reason. Part of what this app earns goes to a future animal sanctuary: a place of protection, of healing between humans and animals, and of creation. When you subscribe, that is also what you are planting.
