Terms of Use

Last updated: 30 June 2026

The agreement

By downloading or using LiveView, you agree to these terms, which supplement Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). If there is an irreconcilable conflict, Apple's standard EULA applies where its terms require. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. LiveView is provided by TheCosmicApp.

What LiveView does

LiveView lets your iPhone view and control your own Mac, by voice and on screen. You are responsible for the computers you connect and for what you do on them. Only connect devices you own or are authorised to use.

Acceptable use

Don't use LiveView to access systems you're not authorised to, to break the law, or to disrupt the service. We may suspend access for serious or repeated misuse.

LiveView's on-device voice uses the Supertonic model under the OpenRAIL-M license. You agree not to use the voice for any of that license's restricted purposes — including breaking the law, harming or exploiting minors, generating false or defamatory content, harassment, impersonation, discrimination, medical advice, or automated decisions affecting a person's legal rights without human oversight. See our Credits page for the summary and the full license.

Availability & the relay

We work to keep the service reliable, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability — networks, your Mac, and third parties are outside our control. The optional cloud relay is provided "as is" to help connections work on any network.

Disclaimer & liability

LiveView is provided "as is", without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

Changes & contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be dated above. Questions: hello@thecosmicapp.com.
